Description
Walton County is requesting a quote to prepare and paint the existing exterior metal siding of its BCC Purchasing Building gray, and the window frames, gutters, garage doors, and exterior trim black. The work includes surface cleaning and preparation, compatible primers and coatings, and satin finishes. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, equipment, access equipment, and supervision; protect adjacent areas; clean up; and complete a final inspection and any necessary touch-ups. The quote must include the total project cost and labor and material breakdown, proposed paint products and coating specifications, confirmation of the proposed colors and satin finish, the surface-preparation and coating system, estimated duration and schedule, and confirmation that required equipment will be provided. Work is limited to Friday through Sunday and must be coordinated with the County. The solicitation also requests lead time, quote validity, a response to whether the vendor has previously done business with the County, and two references for similar work. Insurance documentation and required licenses or permits are requested upon award.
