Description
Philadelphia Gas Works is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide one or more food service operations at designated PGW locations. The scope may include full-service cafeteria operations, grab-and-go food service, catering, vending, and micro-market services, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee, beverages, and other refreshments. Proposers may bid on individual service types or combinations of service types, and PGW may select different vendors for different services. The opportunity uses a self-sustaining, no-cost profit-and-loss model; PGW will not subsidize the selected vendor or charge rent, and utilities necessary for cafeteria operations will be provided at no cost. The selected cafeteria vendor must operate during PGW's core hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and be fully operational no later than 10 calendar days after the October 1, 2026 contract start date. Proposals should address pricing, staffing, transition, operations, and applicable food-service requirements. Finalists may be required to provide a food tasting at PGW's headquarters.
