Description
Newport-Mesa Unified School District is soliciting a turnkey standalone data transmission service providing an initial 10 Gbps connection between 2985 Bear Street and 200 Kalmus Drive in Costa Mesa, California. The requested service range is 1 Gbps to 25 Gbps, and the district may adjust bandwidth, sites, and users during the contract term. The solution must include all necessary equipment, infrastructure, and installation or initial-configuration costs, with services operational by July 1, 2027. Proposals must include an implementation timeline, applicable sales and use taxes and fees, and a sample Service Level Agreement. Connections must be eligible for California Teleconnect Fund discounts. The district may consider multi-year contracts or specified voluntary extensions, but automatic or evergreen extensions will not be accepted. Providers must comply with applicable Federal Communications Commission and Universal Service program requirements, including the Lowest Corresponding Price rule.
