Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a facility-wide asbestos survey, asbestos management plan, and semi-annual reinspection services at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center and the Community Living Center in Philadelphia. The work includes reviewing existing records, inspecting accessible interior and exterior areas, identifying and sampling suspect asbestos-containing materials, laboratory analysis, labeling, risk assessment, inventory updates, and preparation of an updated asbestos baseline survey and operations and maintenance plan. The requirement includes a base year plus four one-year option years. Deliverables include building-specific reports, photographs, sampling records, laboratory results, CAD drawings, databases or spreadsheets, cost estimates, recommendations, and electronic and hard-copy report packages. Work must comply with applicable federal, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, EPA, OSHA, AHERA, NESHAP, and Veterans Health Administration requirements, and must be performed by appropriately accredited and licensed personnel and laboratories.
