Description
The California Tahoe Conservancy is soliciting bids for fuel-hazard reduction across approximately 63.69 acres in the Elks Club area of South Lake Tahoe. Work includes cutting designated live and dead trees and brush with chainsaws, bucking logs, piling slash and brush, chipping and removing contractor-generated and existing fuels, and leaving or processing logs according to the treatment specifications. The contractor must provide all equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, and applicable permits. The contract is anticipated to run through August 1, 2028, with a total contract amount of up to $490,000. Bidders must hold a California contractor license, comply with prevailing-wage and environmental requirements, and attend the mandatory pre-bid tour. Award is based on the lowest responsive and responsible lump-sum bid for all categories.
