Description
The South Jersey Port Corporation is soliciting proposals for as-needed trash removal services at the Balzano and Broadway Marine Terminals in Camden, New Jersey. The contractor must supply, deliver, remove, and maintain 40-cubic-yard and 4-cubic-yard containers at designated locations. The anticipated usage includes approximately 60 40-cubic-yard containers per month across the facilities and weekly removal of 4-cubic-yard general-trash containers, although the stated quantities are estimates and are not guaranteed. The refuse may include wood dunnage, metal waste, mixed solid waste, and general debris. Recyclable wood and metal may be segregated and billed separately, while hazardous materials will not be placed in the containers. Disposal must comply with applicable laws. The contract is for one year with up to two one-year renewal options. A Consent of Surety or equivalent surety-company consent is required with each bid submission.
