Description
The City of Fairhope is requesting qualifications from professional engineering firms for a 12-inch water main extension along the right-of-way of CR-32 from Pierce Road to AL-181. The project will replace or extend an existing undersized 8-inch main to improve fire flow, support growth, and increase water-system reliability and looping. The scope includes surveying, flood-elevation certificates, wetland delineation, geotechnical testing, utility and easement research, stakeholder coordination, permitting, easement acquisition support, alternatives and cost estimates, detailed plans and specifications, bidding support, bid review and tabulation, construction engineering and inspection, materials and submittal review, payment-quantity verification, progress reporting, testing coordination, final inspection, closeout, and as-built drawings. Responses are qualifications-based; pricing, fee schedules, and contract amounts must not be included. Statements of qualifications are limited to 25 single-sided pages, excluding covers and tabs, and must address the specified firm experience, team, approach, references, and MBE/DBE utilization sections.
