Description
The City of Huntsville is soliciting unit-price bids for intersection improvements along Huntsville Northern Bypass and Memorial Parkway. The base work includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing, excavation, pavement removal and construction, asphalt treatments, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage pipes and structures, erosion control, traffic control and markings, roadway signage, water-line work, electrical and fiber conduits, signalized intersections, and related testing and restoration. The bid sheet identifies a substantial base scope and an Option 1 scope covering additional roadway and drainage improvements, box culvert work, sanitary sewer construction, water-line and valve work, electrical and fiber conduits, traffic signals, traffic control, pavement markings, and related infrastructure. Bidders must provide unit bid prices and bid amounts for the listed quantities, including all labor, equipment, materials, and removals. Sales-tax accounting is required; failure to provide it renders the bid nonresponsive.
