Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a firm-fixed, not-to-exceed, or estimated price to repair 25 inertial measuring units identified by NSN 7H-6605-014950012-VN and reference number 4300859. The work must be performed by an authorized repair source and include inspection, testing, MIL-STD packaging, government source inspection, FOB source delivery, Commercial Asset Visibility reporting, and compliance with applicable identification and electrostatic-discharge-control requirements. The requested repair turnaround time is 192 days after receipt of each asset. Quotes limited to test and evaluation will not be accepted, although the quote must identify any applicable test-and-evaluation fee for items determined beyond repair or beyond economical repair. The quote must include repair and total prices, repair turnaround time, new-unit price, throughput constraint, CAGE information, cost breakdown including profit rate if feasible, quote expiration date, delivery vehicle if applicable, and any capacity constraints when the requested turnaround time cannot be met. The Government intends to request an option for up to 100% additional quantity—25 units—for exercise within 365 days after contract award. The awardee must be an authorized repair source, and proof of authorization must be submitted on company letterhead signed by a responsible company official.
