Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks capability statements from businesses able to support systems engineering, avionics integration, and testing for Mode 5, Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), and surveillance cloaking capabilities on two USMC Boeing C-40A aircraft. The anticipated work includes requirements and interface analysis; integration and modification planning; installation support; configuration management and technical-data development; ground and flight test planning and execution; anomaly resolution; and support for airworthiness, certification, and operational approvals. The integration involves an APX-119-540 transponder, digital control panel, KIV-79 crypto applique, personality module, and TPA-100B TCAS computer. Respondents are asked to describe relevant aircraft and avionics experience, technical capabilities and resources, up to three relevant efforts, teaming intentions, acquisition recommendations, and potential risks. This is market research only, not a solicitation for contract proposals or a commitment to award.
