Description
The Township of West Orange is soliciting sealed bids for the installation of two dugout shelters and associated appurtenances at Degnan Park. The Township has already purchased the shelter equipment; the contractor must provide the labor and materials necessary to complete the project in accordance with the proposal, contract, plans, and specifications prepared by the Township's Department of Engineering. Bidders must comply with New Jersey prevailing-wage, affirmative-action, public-contract, business-registration, and ownership-disclosure requirements. The bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of at least 10% of the bid amount, subject to a $500 minimum and $20,000 maximum, along with a Consent of Surety, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Record of Recent Contract Awards, and required ownership statement. Proposal forms must remain bound and intact. The project is funded through a FY 2023 Local Recreation Improvement grant.
