Description
The Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive security services at the Convention Center, including 24/7 staffing, shift supervision, access control, interior and exterior patrols, traffic and crowd control, and protection of personnel, visitors, and property. The contractor must provide trained personnel, uniforms, equipment, management, and supervision; staffing levels may vary with event activity. Security personnel may not carry weapons, and the contractor must provide a full-time account manager and meet specified training, screening, licensing, and workforce requirements. Proposals must include a technical response, a separate anti-discrimination portion, and a cost portion, along with detailed staffing, experience, transition, financial, licensing, reference, and pricing information. The solicitation also requires an anti-discrimination implementation plan, a completed Solicitation & Commitment Form, supporting business certifications, and evidence of best efforts. The contract term is three years with two one-year options; Allied Universal is identified as the current provider under an agreement issued in 2021.
