Description
The City of Canton Engineering Department is soliciting bids for the W. Tusc Corridor Project – GP 1165, a comprehensive corridor construction project. The scope includes clearing and demolition; excavation, embankment, subgrade preparation, concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, detectable warnings, asphalt and concrete pavement, curbs and gutters, erosion control, drainage structures, stormwater improvements, and retaining walls. The project also includes water-main and service work, sanitary sewer removal and installation, conduit and utility work, decorative street lighting and electrical systems, traffic signs and pavement markings, maintenance of traffic, landscaping, bus shelters, brick pavers, asbestos abatement survey and remediation allowance, petroleum-contaminated-soil work, surveying, mobilization, and related incidental construction. Contractors must use LCP Tracker for prevailing-wage certified payroll reporting if awarded. The attached addendum replaces specified plan sheets and the Bid Form and clarifies that direct material bids will not be accepted.
