Description
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources intends to make a sole-source purchase of wetland credits required to satisfy a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit for a project. Under Minnesota wetland regulations, replacement credits must be located within the same major watershed or Wetland Bank Service Area as the impacted wetlands. The purchase must be handled directly through the Wetland Credit Agency, which brokers credits from privately held wetland banks throughout the Midwest. No bid documents are associated with this notification; the underlying project is expected to be bid separately in December.
