Description
The City seeks a qualified, properly licensed and prequalified contractor to complete sidewalk, roadway, utility, drainage, and landscape improvements. Work includes demolition and tree removal; new sidewalks, curb and gutter, and storm drainage; water and sewer main and service installation or adjustment; roadway reconstruction, milling and resurfacing; pavement markings and signs; and landscape, irrigation, and sod installation. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals required by the plans and specifications. Bids must include the completed bid proposal and pricing schedule, bid security, trench safety form, addenda acknowledgment if applicable, MWBE participation plan and applicable good-faith-effort documentation, and the required City forms. Bidders must be prequalified in both the Roads and Streets and Underground Utilities and Excavation categories. The City intends to award a single construction contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The bid form specifies completion within 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
