Description
Tredyffrin/Easttown School District is soliciting proposals for leased dark fiber service between its Network Operations Center at 95 Howellville Road, Berwyn, Pennsylvania, and Bear Hill Elementary School at 1200 West Swedesford Road, Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Proposals must include pricing for four, six, and eight fiber strands, with the preferred point-to-point design; the District will provide switching and optical hardware. The service must include an irrevocable right of use, and vendors may separately price special construction and ongoing monthly recurring costs. The scope includes installation and initial configuration, availability by February 1, 2027, all required permits and rights-of-way, operations and maintenance practices, outage response, fiber repair and replacement, service-level agreements, and emergency restoration arrangements. Proposals must address company experience, Pennsylvania authorization, similar Pennsylvania K-12 client references, federal E-rate experience, vendor identifiers, certifications, subcontracting or resale arrangements, proposed contract terms, and the completed pricing template. A completed non-collusion affidavit and a redacted proposal copy are also required. The proposed contract is for an initial five-year term with five optional one-year renewals.
