Description
Florence Independent School District is soliciting proposals for Category 1 leased lit fiber internet access and data transmission services for seven eligible entities. The requested capacity ranges from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, with a quantity of one service arrangement. Installation and initial configuration are requested, and technical support or additional installation may depend on the selected service offering. The vendor attachment requests pricing and terms for 1 Gbps, 2 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps options under one-, three-, and five-year contract terms, including any additional costs, voluntary extensions, special construction, and non-recurring charges. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the associated RFP system; vendors must register for access and have a valid or temporary SPIN. The solicitation permits consideration of equivalent, higher-quality, lower-quantity, or more cost-effective alternatives, and eligible installation costs may be paid over four years.
