Description
The Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority is soliciting a contractor to remove existing coverings and install new vinyl coverings on 51 operable partitions in meeting rooms throughout the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The specified material is Cascade 44-723 Urban Grey vinyl, or an approved alternate. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, freight, standard panel-face preparation, approved backing, and an additional 15 bolts of vinyl covering for the Owner's attic stock. Existing materials must be removed and disposed of in Owner-provided dumpsters; the Owner will provide one scissor lift, while the contractor must provide any additional lifts. The bid package requires a Form of Proposal, bid guaranty, non-discrimination policy certification, contractor's review certificate, manufacturer's and subcontractor declarations, declaration of insurance, project schedule, and responsibility analysis form. Bids must include one original and two hard copies of all required submittals, be sealed, and be accompanied by a bid guaranty and contract bond meeting Ohio requirements. The work is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage and equal-employment-opportunity requirements and must be coordinated to avoid disrupting convention-center operations.
