Description
The Regional Transit Authority of New Orleans is soliciting bids for the replacement of the trolley lift cable system in the paint booth at its facility located at 8201 Willow Street, New Orleans, LA. The existing cable and structural components are damaged, posing a safety hazard. The scope of work includes installing temporary support structures, removing and disposing of the damaged cable, fabricating and installing a new upright C-channel post, installing a new trolley lift cable system, and performing inspection and testing. Additionally, the project requires cleaning of the pits to access the cable system, which involves vacuum truck services and disposal of accumulated materials. The contract will be a fixed-price contract, and bids must be submitted electronically through the RTA's Procureware website by the due date.
