Description
The County of San Diego is soliciting sealed bids from prequalified contractors for construction modifications to the Woodside Water Quality Basin near Lakeside. The work includes stormwater infrastructure upgrades, retrofitting an existing debris rack with perforated stainless-steel trash-capture plates, replacing wire rope, constructing a low-flow diversion with a 10-inch PVC pipe and flanged connection, and refinishing a cobble-channel spillway notch. Additional work includes traffic control, dewatering, water-pollution-control measures, temporary erosion and sediment controls, clearing and grubbing, minor earthwork and concrete, pipe encasement, mobilization, and related construction activities. Bidders must hold a California Class A General Engineering Contractor license and be prequalified by the County. The estimated project cost is $307,590, and the project has a 90-working-day completion period beginning within 15 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
