Description
The Tulsa Metropolitan Utility Authority seeks a contractor to construct improvements at multiple water pollution control facilities. Work includes concrete and basin joint rehabilitation, synthetic liner work, hydrant and lighting improvements, asphalt repairs, and rehabilitation of a wastewater lagoon embankment using low-permeability soil and a soil-bentonite cutoff. An additive alternate covers decant lagoon drain improvements; the bid also includes an allowance for unforeseen mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, installation, testing, and related work. Bidders must hold a current City of Tulsa pre-qualification certificate in Classification A or D and attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. The bid requires a completed electronic proposal, a printed proposal and signature pages, and bid security equal to 5% of the bid. The work must be completed within 365 calendar days after the work order is issued. Performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds and insurance are required of the successful bidder after award.
