Description
Joliet Junior College is soliciting a complete, turnkey selective laser sintering polymer 3D printing solution for educational and workforce-training use. The system must include a polymer SLS printer, powder recovery and reclamation station, automated depowdering and surface-finishing equipment, build chamber, powder-safe vacuum, powder-handling accessories, startup Nylon 12 powder, post-processing consumables, software and licenses, and all required accessories. The vendor must provide an open-material or research mode supporting third-party polymer powders and user-defined material and print parameters, along with documented powder handling, reuse, refresh, and storage procedures. The scope also includes delivery coordination, installation or approved installation, commissioning, readiness testing, instructor/operator training, safety and site-requirement documentation, a minimum one-year manufacturer warranty, preventive maintenance or technical support, escalation procedures, and service-response information. Pricing must include freight and additional charges, and the proposal must identify each component's manufacturer, model, part number, quantity, warranty term, technical documentation, delivery lead time, and any recurring fees or special-order restrictions.
