Description
NB Power seeks a contractor to provide janitorial services at the Mactaquac Generating Station. The scope includes labor, supervision, cleaning equipment and tools, chemicals, disinfectants, floor finishes, and washroom consumables. Services cover offices, control rooms, washrooms, lunchrooms, shops, trailers, and other designated facilities, with cleaning tasks and frequencies set out in the attached schedule. Regular cleaning is generally to take place after normal working hours, between 4:00 p.m. and midnight, unless NB Power approves otherwise. The contractor must provide product safety data sheets, maintain cleaning quality-control checklists, comply with site safety and security requirements, and provide additional authorized services such as outage support, emergency cleaning, carpet shampooing, and floor stripping and waxing. The contract is for one year, with up to three successive one-year renewals by mutual written agreement.
