Description
The Société des traversiers du Québec intends to acquire a searchlight for the NM Peter-Fraser to support navigation and maneuvering. The requested equipment must use a 350-watt xenon light source or equivalent, provide approximately 25 million candelas and at least one lux at 5,000 meters, and meet specified size, 120 VAC/15 A electrical, outdoor temperature, and IP56 protection requirements to fit the vessel’s existing installation constraints. The estimated contract value is $76,000–$80,000 before taxes. This is an advance contract award notice, not a competitive solicitation: the agency identifies Jastram Technologies Ltd. as the only known supplier able to meet the requirements. Interested suppliers may submit an expression of interest demonstrating their capability; the agency may proceed with the intended award if no other capable supplier is identified.
