Description
North Bergen School District is soliciting electronic proposals for Category 1 WAN services providing data transmission and internet access. The requested service capacity ranges from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps for eight service units, and installation and initial configuration are required. The district's current topology is hub-and-spoke, but it will consider alternative network designs if the proposal includes detailed operating information and all construction or one-time deployment costs. Proposals must include standard contract terms and conditions, proposed monthly recurring and one-time charges, a projected service start date, a valid Service Provider Identification Number, and any applicable state contract or cooperative purchasing references. Vendors must sign and date the WAN specification document and complete Attachment B, including vendor name, SPIN, facilities ownership or leasing information, pricing, and service-start information. The district prefers a 36-month service term but will evaluate other terms. Vendors should have prior experience serving New Jersey public school districts, with references available upon request.
