Description
The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research for highly mobile, production-ready commercial solutions to replace existing L3Harris GCA-2000 and PAR-2000 systems supporting the Brazilian Air Force and potentially other Foreign Military Sales partner nations. Proposed solutions must combine Airport Surveillance Radar functions, including primary and secondary surveillance, with Precision Approach Radar capabilities; support FAA/ICAO flight inspection certification; and be transportable by KC-390 aircraft. Requirements include specified surveillance and precision-landing ranges, ATCRBS/Modes 3/A, C, S, and ADS-B support, two ATC positions, UHF/VHF communications, ASTERIX data output, backup radar and power, and defined reliability and repair performance. A future prime contractor would be expected to deliver radar equipment and initial spares, perform site modifications and system integration, provide technical manuals and maintenance training, and offer long-term and preferably worldwide logistics support. Respondents must describe their capabilities, recent similar experience within the last five years, training and sustainment experience, past performance, estimated production costs, production capacity, delivery schedule, long-lead items, and available contract vehicles. Responses must address the requirements in Section 3 and the capability assessment questions in Attachment A. This is a voluntary Sources Sought/RFI for planning and market research; it is not a solicitation for award.
