Description
Guilford Technical Community College is seeking qualified vendors to provide in-person law enforcement and criminal justice continuing education instruction for North Carolina in-service law enforcement officers. The vendor must provide qualified instructors, existing course materials, printed instructional materials and supplies for each student, course instruction, deliverables, and student assessments. Instructors must be current, former, or retired sworn investigators with investigative experience related to the course topic and the ability to provide credentials or certificates upon request. The anticipated course offerings include crime scene investigations, death and homicide investigations, first-line supervision, hotel/motel interdiction, financial crimes, leadership, mentoring underperforming employees, robbery investigations, sexual assault investigations, and tactical crime control and community engagement. Courses may be offered multiple times throughout the contract period based on demand. The solicitation establishes an initial one-year term with up to two additional one-year renewal terms and an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity structure; no minimum or maximum number of sessions is guaranteed.
