Description
Community Transit seeks a qualified vendor to provide a transportable bus roof access system that allows for safe roof access and fall protection during maintenance and inspection of its bus fleet. The system must be mobile, adjustable in height, and meet Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 296-880 Unified Fall Protection Requirements. The contract is for five years and includes the purchase of one system, replacement parts, and the potential for additional systems based on need. The system must be accessible from both sides of the bus via stairs (no ladders), have fall prevention railing on all outside portions, fully enclose the workspace, and include features to prevent vehicle damage. The vendor will be responsible for assembly and training, and must provide replacement parts for the life of the system.
