Description
Shelby Area District Library is requesting firm-fixed-price quotations for Category 1 Internet access and data transmission services with a minimum capacity of 400 Mbps. The requested solution must include at least one static IP address, domain name registration, itemization of provider-owned connectivity equipment placed at the library, and line-item pricing for eligible and non-eligible services. The library requests a 99.97% uptime guarantee if available, a maximum four-hour service response time on a 24/7 basis, statistical-analysis access through a web interface, and end-to-end maintenance for equipment used to deliver the services. Multi-year contracts may be considered, and the library may select more than one provider. Vendors must have an E-rate SPIN, an active SAM.gov registration, and the required 2027 Service Provider Annual Certification Form 473 on file with USAC by September 1, 2027. Proof of workers' compensation insurance is required with the bid, while proof of a $2 million liability insurance umbrella is required upon award. Vendors must itemize any services not eligible for Universal Service Fund support.
