Blue Grass Community Action Partnership is seeking heating vendors for the subsidy and crisis components of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Required commodities include firewood sold by cord, coal sold by ton, kerosene, fuel oil, and propane sold by gallon. During LIHEAP crisis assistance, deliveries must be made within 18 hours for households in life-threatening situations and within 48 hours for households in non-life-threatening situations. The project is funded in part through the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services with funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
