Description
Steuben County is soliciting an in-toto price for the manufacture and delivery of steel laminated elastomeric bridge bearings for BIN 3359510 and bridges BR 21-21-01, BR 60-08, and BR 60-09. The required quantities are 32 bearings for BIN 3359510, 24 for BR 21-21-01, 14 for BR 60-08, and 14 for BR 60-09. Bearings must conform to the attached drawings, applicable New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specification Section 565 requirements, and specified elastomer hardness and steel-shim configurations. The total price must include delivery to the Steuben County Bridge Shop in Addison, New York; separate shipping charges are not permitted. The successful manufacturer must submit shop drawings within 45 calendar days of receiving the notice of award, and all four sets of bearings must be delivered as one complete shipment on or before May 1, 2027. The bid package requires the County bid forms, signed and dated non-collusive bidding certificate, hold harmless clause form, Iranian Energy Sector Divestment Certification, and any applicable addendum. Two sets of the bid are required: one marked original and one marked duplicate or copy. Insurance and workers' compensation documentation are required before contract performance, while OSHA training certifications must accompany the bid when the applicable public-works threshold is met.
