Description
Michigan Math and Science Academy Dequindre is soliciting proposals for Category 1 dedicated Internet access and data transmission services, including bundled Internet and transport circuits. The RFP requests symmetric fiber service from 1 Gbps up to 5 Gbps, asymmetric service options from 200/20 Mbps through 1 Gbps/35 Mbps, installation and configuration pricing where applicable, and separate pricing for requested bandwidth tiers and contract terms. The RFP also requests Category 2 internal-connection products and services, including firewalls and related components, basic maintenance and technical support, managed internal broadband services, network monitoring, administration, repair, installation, configuration, reporting, and helpdesk support. Vendors must itemize eligible and ineligible costs, provide applicable equipment and service details, identify their SPIN/498 ID, support SPI or BEAR payment options, and comply with E-Rate requirements. A vendor site walkthrough or approved alternative consultation is required for a responsive bid. Evaluation assigns the greatest weight to the price of eligible services, followed by technical compliance, experience, E-Rate capability, and service-center proximity.
