Description
Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District is soliciting proposals from qualified local retail merchants to provide general supplies, merchandise, and related services on an as-needed basis. The district intends to award multiple five-year vendor contracts with no minimum guaranteed quantities or dollar amounts. Vendors may propose one or more product or service categories and may offer discounts from catalog, shelf, or retail pricing, fixed rates for services, or various discounts and price quotes. Examples of services include instrument repairs, workshops, consulting, and other related services. The solicitation establishes a preferred-vendor list for campus and department customers, with pre-established pricing, shipping and handling terms, warranties, return policies, and purchase-order requirements. Responses are evaluated based on pricing, discounts, experience and qualifications, return policy, references, quality, suitability, service, and ability to deliver. Three references for similar supplies or services provided within the past three years are required, preferably for K-12 school districts.
