Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency is soliciting a firm-fixed-price purchase order for 180 new truck and trailer tires in specified sizes and load ranges, along with appropriately rated valve stems, tire tubes and related accessories. Tires must be American-brand products made in the United States, except for five specified 235/80 R16 Load Range G tires, must meet applicable safety standards, and must be no more than one year old from the manufacturing date at installation. Refurbished equipment is prohibited. The contractor must dismount and mount the tires, balance all installed tires on site, provide multiple service trips if necessary, deliver the new tires, and dispose of or recycle the old tires and materials in accordance with applicable environmental regulations. Work must be performed on site during normal working hours, and contractor personnel must comply with facility access and security requirements. The technical proposal is limited to two pages, and the completed pricing attachment must be returned in Excel format. Award is expected to be a single firm-fixed-price purchase order on a best-value tradeoff basis.
