Description
The Washington State Health Care Authority is seeking one qualified Peer Run Organization headquartered in Washington State to manage and host the 2027 Annual Peer Pathways Workforce Development Conference. The two-day conference is intended to provide continuing education, networking, and skill building for Certified Peer Counselors, Certified Peer Support Specialists, Peers, and Peer allies, with capacity for up to 425 participants and presenters. The contractor will establish and facilitate a Peer-majority planning committee; manage the conference website, registration, scholarships, lodging, travel assistance, presenters, exhibitors, catering, venue selection, staffing, marketing materials, signage, programs, takeaways, evaluations, and reporting. The contractor must provide at least four on-site staff members during the conference and must be a Washington-based Peer Run Organization with at least two years of Washington conference or large-event experience and a Certified Peer available to serve as project lead. The total contract amount is not to exceed $280,000, including $25,000 reserved for scholarships and $20,000 for conference-branded takeaways; the bidder's proposed cost may not exceed $235,000.
