Description
The City of Richardson is soliciting bids for construction under its 2026 Bond Residential Sidewalk Replacement Program, Region 3A. The work covers removal and replacement of deficient concrete sidewalks, barrier-free ramps, driveway approaches, street and alley pavement, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk steps, retaining walls, sod, and related appurtenances. Additional work includes water meter and utility-box adjustments, water meter relocation, irrigation-system repair or relocation, pavement leveling, tree removal and protection, traffic control, erosion controls, project signage, and address-number replacement. The bid schedule contains 40 line items with estimated quantities, including approximately 88,285 square feet of four-inch reinforced concrete sidewalk replacement. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, resident coordination, restoration, and related construction services. The expected construction duration is 365 calendar days. The successful contractor must have completed at least three similar projects within the last five years and must provide required bid, performance, payment, and maintenance security as specified.
