Description
The City of Santee is soliciting sealed bids for construction of an Operations Center Vactor Decanting Station. The scope includes earthwork and grading; sewer and water pipelines; valves, hydrants, and a 1,000-gallon sand/oil interceptor; reinforced concrete, asphalt patching, bollards, masonry walls, metal doors, waterproofing, resinous flooring, and a standing-seam metal roof shade structure with contractor-designed concrete pier foundations. The project also includes vehicle-washing equipment, electric pressure washers, an electric tankless water heater, a water deionizer system, copper plumbing, underground electrical and communications conduits, a transformer, safety disconnect, electrical panel, wiring, receptacles, lighting, construction staking, water-pollution controls, geotechnical testing, and special inspections. The contractor must possess a California Class A license, comply with prevailing-wage and public-works registration requirements, and complete the work within 80 working days. The engineer's estimate for the base bid is $850,000.
