Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting NGOs and civil society organizations to implement the European Union-funded NGANGU WALI “Stronger Women” project in the Central African Republic. The work is divided into two lots: Lot I covers Bangui, Bimbo 3 (Boeing), Bimbo 5 (Mboko), and Kouango, with a maximum budget of $373,201; Lot II covers Ndele, Bossangoa, and Nana-Bakassa, with a maximum budget of $358,201. Each lot has a five-month implementation period, from October 15, 2026, through March 15, 2027, and an organization may be awarded no more than one lot. The selected partner will provide training in entrepreneurship, agricultural and other value chains, simplified accounting, marketing, e-commerce, production and quality management; formalize women's groups, savings groups, and cooperatives; administer startup grants and equipment support; construct and equip transformation centers and storage facilities; establish sales points; and conduct community activities addressing gender-based violence, women's rights, protection referrals, leadership, land access, and gender equality. The partner must also provide project coordination, monitoring and evaluation, financial and narrative reporting, visibility materials, georeferenced photographs, beneficiary tracking, and documentation of results. Subcontracting is not permitted. Proposals must include technical and financial submissions, legal and organizational documentation, recent financial statements and audit information, relevant prior contracts, staff curricula vitae, and supporting evidence of capacity and performance.
