Description
This Request for Information seeks industry feedback on an environmental-control sanding booth for aircraft-component sanding and preparation. The specified booth is approximately 22 feet wide by 8 feet deep by 8 feet high, self-contained, and designed to recirculate filtered air. It must capture hexavalent-chromium particulate, include HEPA after-filters, and integrate with facility power, fire-suppression water lines, and direct-air lines. The specifications describe cartridge filtration, reverse-pulse cleaning, dust collection drawers, lighting, and safety features. Respondents are asked to comment on the draft requirements, whether 12–14 weeks after receipt of order is sufficient for delivery, and any other considerations relevant to obtaining a quote. This is market research only, not a solicitation or offer for contract award. Responses are requested by email as an attachment on company letterhead; questions are due separately by email. A site visit is scheduled, and attendees must bring OSHA-approved hard hats and reflective vests.
