Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 32 units of NSN 4710-00-334-9526, Tube Assembly, Metal, plus a contractor first-article test line item. The item is a restricted-source, Air Force-designated critical safety item requiring engineering source approval, export-controlled technical-data access, and compliance with applicable DLA technical, quality, packaging, marking, and inspection requirements. The contractor must test three units, submit a test plan and first-article test report, provide required notifications before testing and shipment, and manufacture the first article at the production facility. The manufacturer’s quality management system must comply with SAE AS9100 or an equivalent standard. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System, and the quotation deadline is September 10, 2026. The required delivery schedule is 281 days for the tube assemblies, with shipment required by January 20, 2027, and original delivery required by March 26, 2027.
