Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking one straight adapter connecting a flange to a hose for use with a 3.5-inch air duct hose. The item must be made of corrosion-resistant steel (CRES), passivated, and manufactured in accordance with the specified technical data package and applicable quality requirements. The requirement is for NSN 4730-00-960-4568 under full and open competition. Delivery is required five days after award, FOB origin, with origin inspection and acceptance. Packaging must comply with ASTM D3951, applicable DLA packaging requirements, and MIL-STD-129 marking requirements. Government first article testing applies, including delivery of two complete units for testing within 30 calendar days after contract date; the first articles may become part of the contract quantity after approval.
