Description
The City of Norman is soliciting a contractor to furnish labor, materials, tools, and construction services for an EV bus pantograph charging system at the Embark Transit Terminal. The work includes installation of electrical power supply infrastructure, a transformer and cabinets, panelboard and disconnect equipment, HDD and trench-installed electrical and communications conduits, and two ABB on-route pantograph-conductive charging systems with associated 150 kW power cabinets. Additional work includes concrete equipment pads and pantograph tower foundations, bollards, security fencing and gates, lighting and safety equipment, curb and gutter work, pavement and sidewalk restoration, and sod replacement. Bids must include the required bidding documents, authority documentation, and a bid security equal to 5% of the total bid amount. The bid package also states that performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds must be furnished within 10 days after award.
