Description
The City of Somerville is soliciting proposals for broadband internet access connecting Somerville Town Hall with multiple municipal and school locations. The requested service includes a 10 Gbps connection, scalable bandwidth pricing from 10 Gbps through 25 Gbps, static IP addresses, connection and integration with the applicant's local area network, and separately identified installation or construction costs. The solicitation also requests one leased on-premises router for internet access. Proposers must provide detailed pricing, a project timeline, a network diagram, and a proposed service-level agreement addressing availability, performance commitments, support, escalation, outage response, restoration, and service credits. Proposals must include applicable contracts or legally binding agreements, E-Rate eligibility and cost-allocation information, FCC Form 498 ID (SPIN), FCC Registration Number, FCC red- or green-light status evidence, and the required pricing, certifications, experience, and reference materials. The agreement is for an initial one-year term beginning on or after July 1, 2027, with up to four voluntary annual renewals by mutual written ratification.
