Description
Mohawk Medbuy Corporation is seeking a complete turnkey solution for a warehouse material-handling and storage system at its Belleville facility. The scope includes a two-level pick module; carton-flow, pallet-flow, selective racking, and shelving; conveyor systems; automated or manual sortation; scan-tunnel equipment; recirculation, feeder, and merge conveyors; lift gates; safety guarding; stairs and handrails; and related structural components. The successful proponent must provide design and Ontario Professional Engineer services, permits, electrical and fire-alarm integration, controls and software, WMS/ERP integration capabilities, project management, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, warranty support, preventative maintenance, emergency service, replacement-parts support, and technical assistance. The RFP seeks a ten-year agreement and permits proposals for either or both automated-sortation and manual-sortation configurations. The system must support specified throughput, scanning, safety, capacity, and regulatory-compliance requirements.
