Description
The Atlantic County Utilities Authority seeks on-call pickup, transportation, and recycling of used tires from its Solid Waste Facility. The contractor coordinates shipment to an approved tire recycling facility and pays all freight and shipping costs. ACUA provides a wheel loader and operator for loading and requires its certified truck scales to be used for weighing hauling units. Bids must provide per-ton pricing, including freight, for calendar year 2027. Estimated comparison quantities are 275 tons of car, light truck, semi-road truck, tractor, and trailer tires, plus 5 tons of agricultural, heavy-equipment, and oversized tires. Bidders must submit operating permits and state certification showing that each proposed recycling facility is approved for tire recycling. Bid security is required, and the solicitation also requires specified bid forms, insurance information, and other vendor response materials.
