Description
The City seeks a contractor to rehabilitate a single-family home. Work includes removing and replacing the composition roof, repairing or replacing up to 10% of deteriorated roof decking, installing new roofing components and shingles, trimming branches that are dead, diseased, rubbing against the home, or overhanging it, and repairing, priming, caulking, and painting a damaged second-floor soffit section. The roof work includes a manufacturer’s warranty and a two-year workmanship warranty. Bidders must price all listed work; partial bids are not accepted. The bid package also requires completion of the scope-of-work pricing attachment and responses to the electronic bid attributes, including company information, subcontractor details, references, and applicable certifications or disclosures. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough are required. The award is based on the lowest responsible bid, with evaluation criteria that include price, City-related experience, and proximity to the project site.
