Description
The State of Michigan, through the Department of Technology, Management and Budget and Michigan Department of Corrections, is seeking architectural and engineering firms for the capacity realignment project at Oaks Correctional Facility in Manistee and St. Louis Correctional Facility in St. Louis. The project includes programming, schematic design, preliminary design, final design documentation, and construction administration services for a new 240-bed Level IV housing facility at Oaks and a new 176-bed Level V housing facility at St. Louis. The scope includes site development, security and perimeter coordination, IT and access-security design, furniture, fixtures, equipment and signage coordination, utility and generator-capacity evaluation, LEED Silver-level sustainability design, and office and field construction administration. Firms must demonstrate the capacity to perform all phases at both locations. The initial questionnaire is used to evaluate qualifications; only firms determined to be best qualified will be invited to submit a technical proposal. The completed questionnaire must be uploaded through the state's procurement system, with $1.00 entered as the bid amount and individual attachments limited to 25 MB.
