Description
The City of Pasadena is soliciting bids for three modular office units or trailers for the Pasadena Police Department. The scope includes two units measuring at least 36 feet by 64 feet and one unit measuring at least 44 feet by 40 feet. Each unit must include an ADA-compliant restroom with septic tank, metal ADA ramp with canopy, durable and weather-resistant construction, insulation, commercial-grade flooring, built-in desks and storage, energy-efficient lighting, HVAC, electrical outlets, fire and life-safety equipment, secure locks, shatter-resistant glass, and a monitored security alarm system. The selected contractor must provide design and engineering plans, obtain permits and approvals, manufacture the units, perform quality-control inspections, deliver and install them in Pasadena, prepare the site and utility connections, complete final inspections, provide user training, and offer ongoing support and maintenance. Bidders must demonstrate experience with three similar governmental projects, hold or provide the required D34 Prefabricated Equipment license or equivalent, submit a five-percent bid bond, and provide a 100-percent performance bond after award. The initial contract term is one year from City execution, with completion required within 30 working days after the Notice to Proceed. Insurance proof is required before award rather than with the bid.
