Description
The U.S. Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia, is seeking proposals for the overhaul, upgrade, repair, testing, inspection, and acceptance of three flight-critical antenna assemblies, NSN 7R-5985-016984608-RQ, part number 282481-01. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, tooling, test equipment, repair procedures, and inspection documentation needed to return the items to Ready for Issue condition. Work must be performed at the facility identified in the proposal, using the specified Argon ST Inc. drawing, applicable manuals, and technical requirements. The contractor must also provide enclosed storage, configuration management, quality controls meeting ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100, calibration controls meeting ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, ISO 10012-1, or an acceptable equivalent, and MIL-STD-130 markings and MIL-STD-2073 packaging. The required repair turnaround time is 272 days after receipt of each asset, and the induction expiration date is 365 days after contract award. The contractor must provide monthly throughput information and follow procedures for beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, and over-and-above repair conditions. Government approval is required for changes to repair sources, facilities, drawings, specifications, and repair procedures. Only previously approved sources were solicited, and an alternate source must obtain engineering source approval. Non-approved sources must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with their proposal; proposals lacking the required source-approval data will not be considered.
