Description
The Defense Health Agency seeks licenses and maintenance for the Siemens UNIPOC middleware platform supporting the Nova StatStrip glucose system, Abbott i-STAT analyzers, Abbott POC DE Module, and Siemens RAPIDPoint 500e blood gas analyzers. The requirement supports at least 55 Nova StatStrip glucometers, 20 Abbott i-STAT analyzers, four Siemens RAPIDPoint analyzers, the Abbott module, and all applicable medical-center personnel. The contractor must provide software, configuration, installation, training, technical and system-administration support, troubleshooting, inventory and quality-control tracking, competency and proficiency tracking, reporting, and uninterrupted point-of-care testing operations. The system must interface bidirectionally with MHS Genesis and the laboratory information system, comply with applicable DoD cybersecurity, HIPAA, RMF, and information-assurance requirements, and have an applicable authorization to operate or conditional authorization to operate. The notice is a sole-source notice of intent rather than a request for competitive proposals; interested parties must submit clear evidence of capability.
